Caleb is two and it is quite clear by his favorite words-"no" being at the top of the list. Recently "peas" (please) has come into a close second because he has found that when he says that word he more often gets what he wants. He even pulled that one on Dad and got a new toy car at the store, but he did have to use his piggy bank money.
I try to give the two-year old man as many choices as possible so he thinks he's in charge and then I don't hear "no" as often. Thank you childhood development.
This morning's choices:
"Caleb, who should get their diaper changed first?"
His daily response: "Bay"
Baby gets changed first, but then he's cooperative to get his changed.
"Caleb, who should take a bath first?"
Today's response: "Ma."
I'm not usually one of the options, but apparently I look like I need a bath today.
Thanks Caleb, I'll work on it.
