December was a fun and eventful month for our family. I want to backtrack so that I have some of the pictures documented. The first event in December was David's b-day.
Caleb helped wrap and decorate David's presents with markers and stickers. I wanted Caleb to help wrap them because I hoped that if he saw what was inside the presents (boring Dad shoes and clothes) than he wouldn't want to open them before David did. Caleb was an excellent artist and loved coloring Dad's presents.
On David's b-day, we had a deluxe birthday breakfast, opened presents, got some new tires for the car, then went to Bountiful to be with David's family. In this picture, Caleb gave David the birthday card he made. Caleb was removing all the stickers that he put on Dad's card because he wanted to rearrange them or keep them for himself, I'm not sure.
David got a lot of work stuff-ties, church shoes, slacks (somewhat boring, but very practical).
One week later we celebrated Caleb's birthday. In this picture, he is saying "Elmo" because that's who's on the coloring book.
Caleb got a train set for his birthday. First he opened the trains and didn't realize there was a track hiding under the blanket that was on the table.
He played trains all day on his birthday and would not leave the house without his trains.

Caleb's favorite foods: pancakes, pizza, and chocolate. We had pancakes for breakfast. We went out to dinner for pizza. Then he had brownies for his birthday cake.
Caleb had a Lightning McQueen candle (thanks Jarelle)-he LOVES Cars! He was very excited to see Lightning McQueen on his cake along with M&M's.
Caleb kept trying to blow out his candle from far away and he doesn't blow very hard so the candle wouldn't go out. David was holding Caleb's head close to the candle because Caleb was a little hesitant to get close himself. After Caleb finally blew out the candle, he had to do it another 5 times because it was so fun.
OH CALEB!!! :) I love all the pictures! Did you get your camera fixed or a new one? The pictures look good!! And you don't look pregnant in ANY picture you're in! Way to go! :) Can't wait to see more of baby olivia!!! Miss you guys a LOT!
