Big News

Last weekend we celebrated our 3 year anniversary by going to Salt Lake. We stayed at the Grand America Hotel, ate too much yummy food, went shopping, had a late night on the town (we didn't finish dinner until 10:30!), and went to the Salt Lake temple where we were married.

We figured we would not be having a kid-free vacation for a while because number two is well on the way! Woman in my ward have started to ask, somewhat hesitantly, if I am pregnant because all of a sudden my belly is showing. Thankfully it is not 'cookie dough' weight (that would be awkward), and there is a reason for the growing stomach. The new baby is expected to join our family around January 2nd.

We told Caleb there is a baby in my stomach and he has kind of turned it into a game. He points at everybody's belly and shakes his head 'no' to say they don't have a baby in their belly until he gets to me and then he shakes his head 'yes.' But then he motions "Where?" with his hands because he can't find the baby. It's still confusing.

It was a very fun and relaxing weekend to celebrate the last three years that we have been married.
