Squaw Peak Hike

Squaw Peak on an early Saturday morning looking up from the trail head. Squaw Peak is in the background.
Mark Holdaway, a friend from our family ward, invited me to climb Squaw Peak--it looks a lot like the mountain on The Lion King. We maintained a solid pace and reached the summit in an hour and forty minutes. The view was stellar. We could see all of Provo, Utah Lake, etc. I well equipped myself with granola bars, lots of water, Lay's potato chips, an apple and carrots. We got down the mountain in an hour (half of the way down we ran). We enjoyed the experience. Aleasha decided that our little boy wouldn't be a fan of trudging the trails, so she caught up on some much needed sleep.

Dear David and Aleasha!
I love reading your blog. I check it quite frequently. I would love to see more posts. I am wondering how my grandnephew is doing! We went to Rebecca's play. It was a lot of fun. She is such an adorable young woman. Scott tells me that Joseph and Chelsie are also PG. Remembering back to when I was pregnant with Nick and Julie was pregnant with Ben...it was such a glorious time. It truly is miraculous! Julie and I had professional photos taken of us, while we were about 6 months along. We handmade look-a-like dresses. Fun!
