We went to Arizona about a month ago, but my dad took some fun pictures while we were there that I thought were still worth posting.
We went to the train park one day, it was blazing hot if you can't tell by Caleb's rosy cheeks, and rode the carousel and train-Caleb loved it so it was worth the sweat!
You can't really tell, but we are riding on a little train.
Caleb went through a phase where he would not get in the big pool, which he is now over, but while in AZ he only wanted to play in the baby pool on the grass. He was very content putting water and dirt in his trucks while we swam in the big pool.
This is Caleb shopping at my favorite store, Nordstrom Rack. After being there for only a few minutes he picked out these Pumas and was carrying them around-apparently he has an innate sense for style. My mom couldn't resist getting them for him because Caleb wanted to wear them right then.
Then Caleb, who seems to be quite the shopper, picked out a shirt with a fire truck on it and again worked his magic on my parents.Caleb loves the nut butter that my dad makes. He carries around the tub and sticks his finger in it for the perfect snack. My sister, who's somewhat a germophobe, realized that Caleb was doing this with the nut butter that she had been using after several days. She was glad to let Caleb finish that tub off by himself. We visited an aquarium while in AZ. Caleb had a blast looking at all of the fishes. I think it may have been the event that inspired the awesome fish face that he makes.
