Cancun!!!

Also, over Christmas break Aleasha and I went to Cancun, Mexico. This was our delayed Honeymoon; back in August Hurricane Dean changed our Honeymoon plans and we ended up going to Kanab. Ha ha ha, yeah, Kanab was one of our stops--it was facemeltingly awesome there. While in Cancun Aleasha got a little sick (whether it was from the food or not we still don't know). She did recover enough to enjoy a little bit of the all-you-can-eat buffets that they had at our hotel. We stayed at the Sandos Playa del Carmen resort. Our resort was right of the beach line and we went out to the beach nearly everyday.

We took one day and went to the the Pyramids at Chichen-Itza--now those were absolutely breathtaking. This city of Chichen-Itza was HUGE with HUGE buildings. The main temple or pyramid had incredible acoustics. A person could stand at the bottom of the 91 stair pyramid (each stair was nearly a foot and a half high) and clap your hands and that sound would return a split-second later as if it were the chirp of a tropical bird. We saw their sports arena and their space observation tower (which looked very similar to the Eyring Science Center tower on BYU's campus). In short, this trip was awesome. Enjoy the pictures!!!
